I am so excited to be getting back to blogging! It’s been years since I blogged consistently and I have missed it. A lot has changed since my last blog update, so let’s get to know each other again! Here are just a few fun facts about me!

My name is Amanda Truth. I was named Truth after my great-grandmother Truth, who raised my mom. I’ve always felt a great connection because of this special name, so we named our daughter Truth as well, but we’ll get there.

I’ve been married to my incredible husband, David for almost 7 years now! He is not a fan of being in front of the camera, but this man is such a blessing and would do just about anything for me 🙂

We have two beautiful children together, Saithe-Elizabeth Truth (see, told you we’d get there!), and Hunter Allen. They are 18 months and 6 days apart and are the best of friends – most of the time.

David and I have said for years that we are a mutually co-dependent family. If we CAN do something together, we likely will!

About a year ago we adopted a 3 year old Australian Shepherd named Jackson. You can definitely expect him to be a regular appearance on the blog because we love him SO much!

We are very active in our church’s children’s ministry, serving in AWANA (Go Sparks!), children’s church, and teaching a Sunday School class. I have always known children are my ministry and have always felt called to work with them. I’m beyond excited that David has felt led in this area as well and we get to serve together. I love the example we’re setting and legacy we are building for our kids growing up with parents who are active in church.

Speaking of legacy, legacy is very important to me, if you couldn’t guess from my and Saithe’s names 😉 We will talk more about legacy in coming blog posts to be sure.
