If you follow me on social media, you may remember the marathon day of sneak peeks. One Saturday I had THREE sessions! I started the morning with Zoey & Mallory, then hung out with the Greers, and finished my evening with the Mallory’s. Finishing the day with the Mallorys’ spring extended family photos was the perfect way to end that day! The light was gorgeous, the family was fun and relaxed and we had a fabulous time together.
We were so blessed to have Merlene’s parents with us for the photos. Extended family photos are always special, but even more so when you can have four generations in the photos!
Fun fact, when David and I first started attending Bethel Baptist Church, Rob and Merlene were the first people to come up, introduce themselves, and make us feel welcome! Since then I’ve gotten to know them all better and become great friends with Lacy. This family is so special. They are some of the kindest, most down-to-earth people, and their love of the Lord is tangible everywhere they go.
The kids definitely stole the show, but I don’t think anyone was mad about it. I love how sweet these cousins are together, and how close they are in age! They truly are growing up best friends.
The last time I saw Daisy she wasn’t yet walking. This time she was cruising anywhere we’d let her!
This tree made the perfect “house,” and during the session the kiddos could usually be found underneath it.
During extended family photoshoots I love to take some time to capture each couple and each family. It’s so special to have the photos of the entire family together, but it’s also important to capture each family as they are in this season!
My FAVORITE!
Thank you for spending the evening with me! I truly enjoy any time I get to spend with you all. Enjoy your spring extended family photos!!
