I love when families come back to me year after year for their family photos. I love it even more when those families are some of my closest friends! I’ve had the privilege of photographing this sweet family since Bella’s first birthday two years ago!! Now she is three and it’s been incredible to see her little personality develop through her yearly photos. Typically we’ve done summer shoots, but this year we delayed to the fall and I am loving their Sandy Bottom fall family photos!

One of the best things about photographing friends is that we’re all already comfortable with each other. Lisa and Brett are PROS in front of the camera, and it’s so wonderful to give minimal direction and have them naturally fall into the perfect poses! Bella has always been off-the-charts adorable and incredibly photogenic, and now at three years old she’s even more fun in front of the camera.

We had the best morning together, wandering around Sandy Bottom and laughing at Bella’s antics. The weather was a dream for late October. Even though the trees were still mostly green, we were able to find some color at the end of our session and took full advantage of the beautiful backdrop!
