It is so sweet when friends have babies. It’s even sweeter when they invite you into their home to capture this new season of life. I love at home newborn sessions because they lend themselves to being so cozy and relaxed. Anyone who’s had a newborn knows you no longer run on your own time schedule. Baby’s schedule supersedes everything else, and being home allows us the freedom to follow that schedule.

A few years ago I was blessed to get to spend time with Cooper’s big brother, Jack for his first birthday. I’ve watched Jack grow the last couple of years into the most gentle little boy. Getting to watch him step into the roll of big brother is incredible, and it’s clear he’s already enamored with Cooper. Everywhere we went in the house, Jack was right there. Even when he was clearly done being photographed himself, he wanted to be near Cooper. I am so excited to watch these boys grow!

Abby and Ryan, thank you yet again for sharing your sweet family with me! Cooper’s at home newborn session was the best way to document this new season in your lives. You are such amazing parents, and your boys are so blessed to have you.
