Buckle up, friends! We’ve got a double whammy senior session today and I am here to tell you, it is a LONG one! I could not narrow down my favorites so you get to enjoy even more of Riley & JJ’s senior session photos!
We met one beautiful Sunday afternoon in Yorktown. It was busy, with people everywhere, but we managed to find a few beautiful, secluded spaces that were just perfect! I have known Melissa and Craig for a while now through working our church’s AWANA program together, but this was my first encounter with both Riley and JJ. It was clear when we arrived everyone was, understandably, a little nervous. Melissa and I spent a couple months going over all the details, and for Riley and JJ it was their first time getting professional photos done. Let me tell you, you’d never know it from their photos! From the starting gate Riley and JJ both knocked it out of the park! By the end of the session I don’t think any of us were ready to go home.
Riley and JJ, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of this incredibly special time in your lives! Thank you for (kind of blindly) trusting me, not knowing what to expect, and being open to whatever the session held. I am so incredibly excited for you both and cannot wait to see what God continues to do through your lives. Melissa and Craig, thank you for sharing your teens with me! I pray you all had as much fun as I did and enjoy your photos! I am OBSESSED!!
One thing I always like to do during my senior sessions is grab some photos of whoever came with us! We were so blessed to get photos with Grandma and Grandpa 🙂
This next part of the session was hands down my favorite! This was the time when we got to really explore what makes Riley and JJ who they are! Riley loves the Braves and will be attending Liberty next year. This is true across all of my sessions, I absolutely adore when my clients make their photos truly their own and let their personalities shine! It sets my heart on fire!
Melissa told me when she asked JJ what he wanted in his photos, the first thing he said was, “Grandma.” I love that Grandma and Grandpa were able to be in the photos, too!
